These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between us and yourself. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website or as advised to you by other electronic or physical communication(s).
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions.
Failure by us to enforce any part of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce remaining terms.
We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
To order goods on our website, you must be at least 16 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. All orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been dispatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you by telephone or e-mail).
When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks or from any of our financial services partners and providers. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest that you telephone us or visit one of our stores.
The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of changes to the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.
From time to time the prices displayed on our website may be different if you are directed to it from a third party website. Purchases at these prices can only be made on our website and by arriving on it through a relevant third party website; these prices will not be available in-store or over the telephone.
Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative and will discuss your requirements with you prior to your acceptance of the alternative, either via email or on the telephone. If we are unable to provide an acceptable alternative to you, we shall make a full refund of the price paid by you. If we are unable to contact you to discuss the alternative, we shall replace the product for what we deem to be a suitable alternative.
On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in-store. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that they differ from those on the website. Similarly, our store is under no obligation to honour any website price or promotion in the event that they differ from those in-store.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.
Once your order is processed through the website and payment made via our secure payment provider, your order is sent directly to us for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this the same day for all orders received by 5pm Mon — Fri (excl Bank Holidays). Orders received after 5pm on Friday, or those received on Saturday, Sunday, or a Bank Holiday, will be processed and dispatched during the next working day.
For orders where delivery is within a 10-mile radius of one of our stores, then it may be possible for us to process it after 5pm or during a non-working day. Details are included within the delivery section of these Terms & Conditions.
You can track the progress of your order at any time by logging into My Account from the Home page on this website, however the majority of orders are dispatched using standard Royal Mail services, therefore once the order enters the Royal Mail service we cannot provide tracking information (unless you have purchased a service of that type).
SECURITY (STREAMLINE/WORLD PAY)
We use the industry leading internet payment company WorldPay to protect your card details and protect you and us from fraud. For millions of people around the world, WorldPay is the way to pay - trusted and secure. WorldPay payment solutions are trusted by thousands of businesses, big and small. WorldPay provides a secure connection to your card issuer, without itself holding information regarding the goods or services you have ordered. The following outlines the how you can make a payment through the WorldPay Payment Service and how we deal with the transaction.
How does the WorldPay Payment Service work?
A shopper visits an e-commerce website and selects the items that they would like to buy.
The shopper then proceeds to the merchant's checkout with their shopping basket. This generates a summary description of the purchase that is sent to WorldPay for payment processing. This submission is often referred to as the "purchase token".
The shopper is redirected to WorldPay's secure server where they are presented with a series of payment pages, enabling them to choose their payment method and enter their payment details.
WorldPay records the shopper's payment details against the details submitted in the purchase token to produce a transaction.
Delivery is charged as priced on each order and is based on the weight of the total products being sent. Your order will usually be sent via standard Royal Mail 1st class services, however you may be presented with other options during your order. If you place an order before 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) it will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 5pm on Friday, at any time during the weekend, or on Bank Holidays will be dispatched during the next working day. If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for both delivery and collection cost.
When our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, if it is not possible to deliver your item, whether that be due to the size of the item, non-availability of someone to sign for the item (for those deliveries which require a signature), or any other reason; they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or if it is not possible to deliver the item on two separate occasions, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred in the further re-delivery of your item.
All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) may incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays. Please call us for details of purchases needing to be sent to these locations and we will do everything we can to get it to you as quickly and cost effectively as possible.
Morning, Saturday and “next working day” deliveries may be available and will also incur additional charges as outlined at the point of order - again, you should call us to discuss please.
We will deliver goods to the delivery address you give us on the order - this can be separate to the billing address.
Where you accept our ‘Handwritten Card Delivery’ service and the item is sent directly to your nominated recipient, the above delivery terms still apply.
All information provided on the products on this website is intended as a guide only. Dimensions and weights are only approximate, as are colours. If you are ordering goods that are out of stock we will dispatch them when they are received from our supplier.
On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
Any unwanted items must be sent back in the original packaging and condition, to:

If you are unhappy with the goods received we will refund them as long as they are sent back in a new, resaleable condition within 7 working days along with the original receipt. It would always be best if you called us to discuss your return so we get the chance to do our very best to help sort the situation out. We suggest for your own protection you use a registered postal service for any return.
Refunds will be issued once we have received the goods and this will only include the total of goods sent and not the delivery charge, unless the item was determined by us to be faulty.
We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items.
Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or fully refunded.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

Creased Cards Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only collect and use information given at the time of ordering or signing up to receive company information and updates lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We do not pass your personal information on to third parties.
All transactions and communications that you initiate with Us on this web site are confidential. Your name will not be added to any third party mailing lists, however when ordering a product from us, we may use that information to regularly communicate with you and to keep you informed of company news and offers. You can withdraw your permission for us to do this by following the instructions which are included at the bottom of every email communication we send you.
THE DATA PROTECTION ACT
Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a duty to protect any information we collect from you. It will not be disclosed to any other organisation unless you give explicit permission, or there is a legal obligation to do so. We collect information about you for three main reasons:
- To process your online order.
- To provide you with the most efficient possible service.
- The information collected will be used to personally keep in touch and let you know of any offers, sales or promotions that Creased Cards are carrying out (if you have selected to receive these emails/newsletters).
